the question my brain always turns to when I see mashups like this is "how was the connection made?" Did someone happen to watch the Fosse piece and realize the rhythm worked with "Walk It Out (Remix)"? And whose brain works like that? And what person knows Bob Fosse as well as they know DJ Unk? And, seriously, really? I mean, that's some pop culture connectivity that is so next level that my brain just might explode under the pressure of it all.
You're actually right on the money here. I was walking by some co-workers desk (Judi and Marty) they were marveling over these girls killing it on the dance routine... I'd just come back from Rehab at the Hardrock where the Remix was playing poolside so we threw it up on the company speaker system... the two just worked together. Judi mashed them up on her mac and the rest is history
